Guys, have you ever befriended an attractive girl with no sexual feelings attached?

I feel like a lot of guys eventually fall for or initially have crushes on their best friend or close friend who's a girl, unless they're completely butch or a lesbian. I mean, I can see why it would be hard not to fall for an attractive girl who you really get along with, but I just want to know if you've ever done it. "Friends with benefits" doesn't count either.

I've never had a male friend who was never attracted to me... But it also has never bothered me. It is only natural. I don't think wanting to get in my pants is the only reason a guy would befriend me but it most likely is among them. But, really, as long as the guy is a good friend... him having a hard on for me is not all that bothersome.

I do believe there are opposite gender friends who are not attracted to one another, it might be rare, I'm not sure but I know it exist.

I think there is a difference between sexual feelings and women just happen to be there and sexual feelings for some one. Most guys have really high sex drives and there are no sexual feelings attached. There are simply sexual feelings and a person they hope will be on the receiving end. But attachment? That is another issue, completely. Guys feel sexual or horny. Attractive girl walks by. Coincidence, nothing more. The sexual feelings are not attached to the girl, they are attached to the guy. Permanently.

I have a really good friend who I used to like but I figured out she has a boyfriend. Now I have no attraction to her whatsoever. Most of the time I forget I liked her and when I do I think, "Why did I like her?" She's still a bit pretty though. I just totally see her as a friend now though. She's one of my besties too. I don't really have a sexual interest in ANY of my female friends or anyone at all. I'm only interested in my crush. I'm not just being mushy, I'm DEAD serious. Everyone thinks I'm gay or jst weird but I'm not. Once when I told my guy friend who I liked, he asked, "Does she got a**?" I then realized that I have never ever bothered to even look at her butt, so I had no idea what size it was! I'm always staring at her eyes when we're talking anyways (We're acquaintances, not friends yet).

EDIT: My case stands eve clearer now than before. My crush rejected me, so now I am crushed. The bigger problem is, I now have no where to go. My greatest strength is also my greatest weakness. I still am not even attracted to my good-looking friends. She was the only girl I liked so now I have no idea what to do. I can't find where to go. Whoever made up the "fish in the sea" quote was an idiot.

I think this is highly impossible. I'm not a guy, mostly all my guy friends had a thing for me. This is what I truly think. I believe guys don't want to deal with females they don't find attractive period. A guy is not going to be "friends" with a girl who they think as ugly. I believe any female friend a guy has is someone he naturally wants to have sex with whether he realizes it or not.

Edit: I guess I was right. Everyone else is saying the same. This is just something noticed. If a guy is a friend with a girl, it's always a girl he would not mind having sex with. If he is 'friends" with a girl who he doesn't deem as attractive, he will have small talk with them and he will be around her once in awhile. when a guy asks me to be his friend, i take it as...."I think you are cute, let's get to know one another, and hopefully I can f*ck you some day". That's exactly, how I see it when a guy is trying to be my 'friend'.

Of course I have had gorgeous female friends but didn't feel any sexual or romantic feelings towards them. That disproves the myth men and women can't be just friends. Not all of us have sexual feelings for every single pretty girl out there. It's a stereotype.

I've had several female friends who I considered to be physically attractive, but had no sexual feelings for whatsoever. Either our personalities didn't mesh, I was just looking for friendship, or I simply wasn't interested in them despite their appearance.

Just because a guy recognizes that a girl is attractive that doesn't automatically mean he will be sexually attracted to her.

Yeah plenty! Of course I have relationships, but I can have close, attractive female friends and not feel romantically driven towards them! I mean is it so bad to just want an attractive person around to have a laugh with?

I had a friend in college who was a cute girl, but I wasn't particularly attracted to her because our personalities would not have made a good couple.
