Should I be going to school with anorexia?
Hi I think in anorexic and I've been to my go and they have refered me to the camhs team, I'm having blood tests on Friday and I'm apparently underweight. I eat 400-450 calories a day, I'm always cold and so is school and I can't stand the bitterness on my skin, I have no energy at all and basically all the symptoms of anorexia, should I be going to school? I'm really scared that I need rest but I'm worried about my attendance

Yes, you should!
Mingling with people would help in your recovery. And don't listen to people who call you fat/chubby or any such offensive term. Those people have more serious self-esteem issues than you do, and that is wht they do it.
Good luck on your recovery. Please start eating normally soon- you may put on a little weight at first, you have been starving your body-but u'd be fit and healthy soon enough.

When you get your diagnosis, your parents can bring documentation and request a case study. An IEP will be prepared which will take into account your treatment plan and energy level.

Yes you should be going to school and I for one think you need to speak with your parents and maybe a therapist about what's going on with you.

Since your doctor has "not" told you to stay home, it would probably be best to go to school. I hope you get well soon, be brave. good luck.
