I have a very poor memory for Japanese names. I remember some because I pointedly made the effort to remember them or not. For example I recall the name Kyuu Sakamoto who have a crossover hit that we call "the sukiyaki song" But, some other Japanese singers whoes names I would like to remember, I cannot. For example. the singer - song writer who wrote Jidai. I know some other songs that she did and also that another reconding artist did the same song (Sakurada Junko)

I remember the names of some famous Japanese novelists. Like Soseki Natsume but I cannot remember the name of the author of the book that I am currently reading (Umebe no karuka)

Sorry, I don't think this is what your were looking for.

It is no longer that straightforward, pricey, due to the fact that most ceramics artists should not "noted" outside of ceramics and confined artistic circles. Leonardo da Vinci did not work in ceramics. However, among 16th-century artists, Bernard Palissy did, and he is lovely famous. A loved ones of ceramics artists were the della Robbia, who stay VERY famous. Way more recently, Judy Chicago has been closely related to ceramics work in the context of "The Dinner social gathering":
