If I understand your question...I was lucky to have been born an American, into a great family, ruled by a loving, but strict mother who taught me wrong is always wrong, some things happen for no reason (such as me being born a relatively healthy American, but some are born into extreme poverty), and be thankful for what I DO have and not resentful of others who have more - there are others who have less. She also taught us if we don't become someone who impacts the world in a large meaningful way, at least try to be the smallest drain on society you can be.

I'm sheltered. I don't fight; I help people when they need it; and I generally cave in when people ask to borrow or do things (as long as I can trust them).
I was also encouraged to do my best in school by my parents. As a result, I was *super* opinionated. Caused alot of arguments. I eventually realised that it was the only real cause've conflict in my life, though, so now I'm generally neutral to everyone's opinions until I'm asked specifically for mine.
But I still argue online - cause I was raised to love arguing. =P
