I don't know what book series to read next?

I want to read an urban fantasy with lots of magic and stuff like that. Similar to Harry potter.

I've already read...

The Nicholas flamel series

Harry potter

Percy Jackson

The Kane chronicles

The heroes of Olympus

Could you please list some books. Maybe with a little description of what it's about. Thank you so much. :)

Here are my favorite urban fantasy book series:

    Young Adult Books:

    Fable Haven by Brandon Mull

When thirteen-year-old Kendra and her eleven-year-old brother Seth go to stay at their grandparents' estate, they discover that it is a sanctuary for magical creatures--and that a battle

between good and evil is looming.

The Chronicles of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon

New Orleans. When fourteen-year-old Nick Gautier's gangbanger friends try to kill him, a mysterious stranger comes to the rescue. Suddenly Nick's life is filled with zombies, werewolves, demons, and other supernatural creatures.

The Darkest Powers by Kelley Armstrong

After a bad encounter with a disfigured ghost, fifteen-year-old Chloe becomes the newest resident of the Lyle House for troubled teens. When her odd housemates display various powers, Chloe tries to make sense of the house's mysterious goings-on and endangers the entire group.

    Senior High and Older books:

    Iron Druid by Kevin Hearne

Centuries-old druid Atticus O'Sullivan, who is frequently mistaken for a college student, leads a content life in Arizona. But his peace is shattered when an ancient enemy decides to take on Atticus, the local pack of werewolves, and the ruling Irish gods.

    Sandman Slim by Richard Kadrey

Nineteen-year-old James Stark was a member of a magic circle until the leader, Mason Faim, sent him to Hell in exchange for power. Stark became one of Hell's most-feared hitmen. Eleven years later, he escapes Hell and returns to Earth for revenge.

October Day Series by Seanan McGuire

San Francisco PI October "Toby" Daye, a half-human, half-fae changeling, is desperate to avoid magic. But when a curse forces her to investigate the murder of elven countess Evening Winterrose, Toby must return to the world of the fae--or die.

Adult Fantasy (Due to sexual content)

The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher

Chicago. Harry Dresden, a wizard-for-hire specializing in paranormal investigations, helps the police probe the murders of mob enforcer Tommy and Tommy's lover, Jennifer, an escort who worked for a powerful vampire. Clues indicate rogue sorcery, but there are no leads and no suspects.

    Angel Ink by Jocelynn Drake

Mysterious tattoo artist Gage Powell tries to hide from his past, but warlocks are hunting for him. Gage must dodge detection while making sure his assistants--elf Trixie and troll Bronx--keep the business running in good order.

PS. If you don't know what Urban fantasy is then don't answer. I mean who really thinks Eragon is URBAN FANTASY idiot.

I didn't list Mortal Insturments by Casandra CLare because it wasn't that good though it falls into the catagory. Sure the first two books in the series were good but once the girl finds out that the boy she's been making out with and in love with was her brother then that takes it too far. WTF

READ CITY OF BONES BY CASSANDRA CLARE!

It's a bit like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, with the whole fantasy world type thing; it's got warlocks, werewolves, demons, etc. and it's just a really great book (:

Plus the movies coming out in August, so firstly you should read the book beforehand, and secondly if you want to get the gist of it you can watch the trailer online.

This one is one that never gets old and is better than the hunger games in my opinion, by suzanne collins, chronicles of gregor the overlander. There's also nick the overlander which I haven't gotten to yet. GTO has 5 books, and is about a boy who falls through the vent in his laundry room and discovers a hidden world underground where people have purple eyes, all bugs and animals are giant.. they ride on bats and are always trying to fulfill these prophecies. Gregor is the warrior who must fulfill them to save the underlanders from losing everything they have or being taken over by the rats. I dont wanna spoil it but its the best thing ive read in two years, and is very action packed.... I say you can almost compare this to harry potter, amazing series, very well written...

heres a fantasy book series that i think youd like to read next.

there is a series of books that i read and liked called septimus heap.

there are 6 books that i read and their all really good.

it has wizards and magic and everything that any fantasy lover would like.

there is also a new 7th book that i haven't read yet.

the first one is called magyk and the second is called flyte, then phisik, then queste, syren, darke and the new 7th book is called fyre.

every book has over 500 pages, so if you dont like to read long books you dont have to read that series.

i really recommend that series especially since i like the same kind of books you like, and i think that this is exactly what you are looking for.

    hope this helps

I highly recommend Gardens and the Warrior of Heaven as your next series. -- A boy is born with the innate ability to manipulate Meteora -- a nonlinear energy source -- because of this he is taken from his home by the government and taken to Gardens to serve the new world order as a soldier. Garden may find they have bitten off more then they can chew, because unlike the other children they take, Tenchi just isn't born with the rare genetic trait to manipulate Meteora, but he was made from it.

Try the hardy boys series. Its a VERY long series but the single books are quite short.

I'd recommend the InkHeart series (Ignore that god awful movie) or the Eragon series. There's probably a lot more, but those are the two I can grab off the top of my head. Hope I helped.

Read the maze runner trilogy. It's amazing. Oh and Beautiful Creatures. There's also: divergent and the mortal instruments. They're all good.
