What is the best cordless power drill? Construction workers and contractors opinions please!?

I do contract work on the side and burnt up a few drills, partly because I'm cheap and refuse to spend the money! I keep hearing nothing beats a Milwaukee when it comes to endurance, torch, and speed. I'm a large man and can handle the weight of a heavier drill. I drill through treated 4x6 lumber, hardy board, sheet metal, landscape timbers, railroad ties, and concrete footers. If Milwaukee is the best, which model do you recommend. I ask the construction guys because they know better than anyone. Thanks for your help!

I do not do the heavy work that you do, but I use the smaller Milwaukee drill, All of my employees have them, they will out last any thing on the market and have the best batteries.. But for the work you do,, you need to have a powered drill I would think..

You're never going to find a cordless drill that will handle that kind of abuse. Cordless Drill just aren't designed to be drilling through railroad ties etc. You'll burn them all up. You need to stick with with corded drills if you're going to be using them for this type of work.

I use only ryobi from home depot, there cheap and you can buy just a drill if you burn it up.
