How can a teenage girl get abs?

I'm 5'8 & 140 lbs. I'm very active. I run a lot and play basketball. I do ab workouts I got from a magazine every other day. I eat pretty healthy & I still can't seem to get abs. I need HELP! My dream is to get a 6 pack before summer ends. Exercises & diet plans please!!

You need to stretch out after those exersises to get the lines. Remember people can have abs but no muscle, just based on lines. Do the "seal" stretch after to get those. Lay on ur stomach and push your body up with your hands it should ache. It looks like this!

    Hey!

I have abs, they aren't super defined but they are there.

I actually don't really do anything but dance. I dance a lot. I sued to do gymnasts and i got even more defined abs. It takes a lot of work over a period of time. They will come, it just takes work. What you are doing seems like it would work over a period of time. They just don't appear.

Crunches are probably the most affective thing. Do around a 100 of those a day, or do them during commercials when you are watching TV and you will see a different. Do a kinds of crunches and sit ups and leg lifts. And do planks!

You will start to see a difference.

If your doing this to impress guys, well don't. I don't that there are any guys that like girls that look like they can beat them up. But of you do want get and for some reason, well chances are that your already have then. There just probably hidden your fat (no offense). I'm not saying your fat, it's just that you pesky don't have the right fat% to have ab definition. I have the same problem, i can do like 50 curl upS in a minute but i got no definition. Of your want you can mix it up in your work outs. Do curl ups day, ruin another. Then relax and so it all over again.

Low resistance situps, eat less carbs. You probably do have a six pack already but it's probably hiding behind a layer of fat. You'll want to do low resistant, high repetition sit ups/ab workouts to burn the fat around your core area.
