My Cat Has A Zit on Her Lower Lip?
She is an approximately 3 month old Maine Coon, who just last week got her last shots of the year. A couple of days after the shot, her lower lip swelled, and developed what seems like a pimple, with a white head on it (that hasn't popped in 5 days). The swelling has gotten slightly better, but her lip still is bigger than usual and seems to hold pus.
Could this be a reaction to the shot?
Have any of you experienced this?
Thank you for your help.
She eats pretty much normally, and is very active and playful.
Can I clean her lip with any product (not toxic, obviously)?
Thanks

I would go straight to a vet. By the sound of it it's a allergic reaction and could lead to worse. If you don't have a good vet, then you need to find one. That's just what i would do, So that I wouldn't mess up anything more. Don't try to pop it, becuase that may lead to worse swelling where she can barely open her mouth and will barely be able to eat and drink. I hope you're kitty gets better!
