Why does the Bible keep having to remind people that "God is good"?
We didn't need to be told that Harry Potter was the good guy in his book, or that Darth Vader was a bad guy in the Star Wars universe.
Yet the Bible seems adamant about reminding us who the "good guy" is on a regular basis. Why do you suppose that is?

Because Satan being the ruler of this world has convinced the majority of humans that God is a bad ruler, responsible for all the suffering in the world.

Mine is not to reason why, mine is to do or die! How about God is one of the good guys ! Bible full of far better questions, read and find the answers !

Because so much of his claimed behavior in the book is just gawd awful, in the sense of being evil and barbaric.

because if you just looked at the actions of this mythic deity you'd think it was a mass murdering psychopathic piece of goat dung.
