Atheistic Satanists don't worship Satan. That's the "atheist" bit. He symbolizes what they stand for. They don't worship that symbol.

There is no version of Satan that I am interested in worshiping. I think the Satanists have a lot of good philosophical points, but I'm not going to worship something that only exists as an idea. Also, the bit I like least about Satanism is its antagonism toward Christianity, which is one of the reasons they embraced the Satanic symbolism in the first place.

Yes I know some Satanists and yes they are atheists with a philosophy called satanism and they are really good people I admit

Only followers of the major bronze age beliefs systems from the Middle East even believe in that imaginary character. Satan does not exist.

Atheistic satanists don't worship satan. They use Satan as a metaphor to explain their philosophy.

Why worship the guy who came in second? Second is just first place loser.

Seems silly to worship a creation, when the one who rightly deserves worship is the uncreated Creator of all creation. Duh.

You can't be an atheist and be a Satanist. You can't reject religion and embrace it. That's as stupid as worshiping second place.

of course not. Satan is a Christian construct / myth, atheists do not worship anything, so what are you on about except showing that you know nothing about atheism or Christianity.

Satan is a god, usually partnered with God.

My disbelief encompasses whole belief system, including Satan.

To my knowledge, there is nothing supernatural what so ever.

So knowing what I know, worshipping a supernatural being would be rather stupid.

Because I have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and I now have eternal life in Him. So I no longer worship the devil.
