The devine culinary preference?
What type of food/style of cooking would you consider the food of the gods/manna from heaven?
For me and by way of example,it's seafood.
Ack,wine is just so much sour grapes,Dogma. Replace it with German wheat beer and you have a godly meal indeed.

Lemons, and anything made from/of lemons.
Lemon goes great with most seafood. Let's get it on, my Panther :)
Preserved lemon tastes great in fava beans and most tagines.

Flavor baby!
Right now I'm a wee bit tipsy and eating a sandwich of my own construction made of a mesquite grilled chicken breast with a Thai curry sauce and goat cheese. That is how I roll. Earlier today I had Tom Thit Ram, a Vietnamese dish that done right will bring you to your knees. I am also partial to good Mexican food. Steak or chicken grilled with a fresh chimichuri is always a treat. I attended culinary school and have a deep appreciation for the creamy, buttery, flawless dishes of French origin that have spread globally as well. The Brits know thier beef and potatoes. Had a cheese last week called "No Woman" which was a lovely white cheddar flavored with Caribbean jerk seasoning. A well executed chicken tikka masala with naan is always welcome on my plate. Who hasn't been in the mood for a nice Ethiopian dish with lentils?
I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is NO right answer to this question. If anyone can give an answer that I cannot top I would be shocked. If I could give a single answer that nobody here could refute I'd be flabbergasted. Variety is the spice of life! Sample it all and come back for seconds on the things you enjoyed the most!
You're welcome.

EDIT - I do put together a fine pitchfork fondue and all the trimmings, steaks skewered on pitchforks and deep fried in a cauldron of boiling oil.
One thing I miss on the central plains is the fresh seafood of the Chesapeake Bay when I lived in Virginia

Veal.
To be exact.. Veal Champignon with garlic mashed potatoes and a nice Cab merlot.
Who needs the veggies?
If there were a food for demi-gods it would be braised beef ribs or briscket, but Veal is the omni-meat

Prime rib roasted with salt.
Beef Wellington - the real stuff, not the halfass version you find sometimes. An otherwise respectable restaurant around here has "meatloaf wellington"; that just sounds horribly wrong to me.
