Is this an unrealistic dream? 10 pts Best Answer?
My mom has been talking to me about what I want to do with my life since I am a sophomore now. It's been my dream for years to go to vet school at Texas A&M or North Carolina State (right now I live in Maine, but I want to move to the south). After graduation I want to invest in the farm life, and purchase several hundred acres of land. I'd like to establish a small farm and veterinary hospital. I know it'd be a challenge to run a farm and hospital, but my passion for animals would give me the drive. It's not like it'd be a huge farm operation either, just enough to feed my family and make some extra cash. I just love animals, gardening, and medical science. This would be my dream life, and considering I'd live on the same property as my farm and veterinary clinic, I think I could do it. My mom says it's an unrealistic dream, but I think she just says that cause she wants me to be a neurosurgeon and my dad wants me to be a trial lawyer. But I know what I want to do in life, but is it attainable?
I am starting my saving now so in about 10 years, I'll be able to put a good down payment on my land and everything, and hopefully suffice until my business gets going and bringing in the cash. I know it's risky but if it could work, then all the struggle would be worth it.

First of all THANKS , and yes i believe its somewhat relasitic , if you have the drive and determination for something noone can stop you from achieving but physically yourself or someone who wants to put you down, you love animals if you save up alhtough save up means thousands you can then buy your own land or get someone to work for you preferably a friend all will go well if you just believe that it can happen, Just think if people out there stopped believing do you think wed have the internet and resources we have today ? x

Totally unrealistic.
That's the sort of thing a young child that doesn't know any better would say, not someone your age - unless it's to show you haven't a clue what you're talking about.
