subfloor in a bathroom?
I am going to lay some new lino in my bathroom. I will be laying a 3/8" subfloor first. What will I have to do to allow for this extra thickness to seal the toilet or will the wax gasket allow for it??

Use two normal wax rings.. This will make up for the differences. They do make flange extenders but I personally don t have faith in them.
The 2 wax rings should be the flanged type. They have a rubber flange that allows the flow of water into the floor flange. GL

You can buy over sized wax rings or simply get two regular ones and stack them and remove the excess. Try one first and if it's too small the get one more.

get a closet flange extender the same width as the total floor will be
