Why isn't there just one religion?

Different cultures and races gernally believed in different Gods. What religion you are is largely based on what society your born in. The American indians had their gods, vikings had their gods, romans, etc etc.

2. No - the two choices are Theism or Atheism = you believe in god/s or you don't.

The OLDEST religion emanates from Australia's Aboriginals 50,000+ years ago.

You presume a lot of things about religion. There is nothing in the definition of religion that requires anyone to have "saw god".

Most religions don't say ANYTHING about non-believers. The Judeo-Christians are the exception, not the rule.

Religion is something made by people based on their experience and understanding of the world. Different people have different experiences. That is obvious fact. Now, maybe a great many people (or even everyone) is wrong, or maybe they just have different experiences of the same thing, sort of like a group of people can see the same movie but have vastly different opinions of it and even understandings of it.

Maybe newer religions are more correct because they've been able to build on more knowledge and experience, just as modern science is better than older science.

Because religion is the most divisive thing this planet has ever seen!

Christianity alone has been split into over 39,500 different denominations, sects and cults setting Christian against Christian and Christians against everyone else!

God's work? Hardly!

It must be the Devil and the Antichrist working together to divide, conquer and destroy Christianity from the inside!

Most people would be bored to death with one religion. Different beliefs and different religions makes the game of life more interesting, doesn't it? And you believe you know the "truth?" Then you're just part of the confusion.

Before you die, find out the difference between "belief" and truth. Then you might understand.

So many religions just as there are so many other businesses, and yes I call religion a business and they are all selling the same thing; lies and bull sheet to steal the money of the weaker minds.

Religion is basically a cultural construct. Even in one religion there are culturally-driven denominations or sects.

You mean Atheists, Pagans and Christians? There is more than one because no two groups or people think alike.
