YOU are the cook!! you can do whatever it is that saves your sanity because traditionally the cook doesn't get to eat until all others have been served!! I cannot stand there and make pancakes for the Sunday family without eating the first one myself!!
and note: I will be frying yellow crookneck and patty pan in another hour and will eat the first fry before putting any on the platter to go to the table!!

Great idea.
Maple syrup smells sooooo good when it touches something hot such as pancakes!

take some batter out with a table spoon and cook it will only take a few seconds per side

make thin ones jesse, call em crepes they cook faster lol
