A fossil is not evidence for evolution because no evolution is taking place in a dead fossil. A fossil is proof an animal existed. That is all a fossil is proof of. If you found a baseball fossil can we assume it evolved from a basketball? No. It is proof a baseball existed.

It's in the DNA dumbass. The DNA supports the fossils, the fossils support the DNA. We have yet to find a part of either of those that doesn't match up with the other.

I know your not used to rock hard evidence, being a theist and all, but that's about as solid as it gets. It's on par with gravity.
