which meal plan should i choose for college?

I have 2 choices. the first is the 16 Meal Plan Plus M which comes with 16 meals swipes per week and 150 flex dollars. so i can eat once during breakfast, lunch, dinner. and the flex dollars allow me to eat anywhere that i can't use the meal swipes at. so i guess for a quick snack. Flex dollars are the same as regular dollars just for school though. its for scheduled eaters i'm told

or the All Access Meal Plan which allows me to come in at anytime i would want to and as many times as i would like. but no flex dollars i would have to pay for those myself. so i'd be limited to just a few stores that take meal swipes.

In high school well we were scheduled eaters and i was fine with that except moments where im starving and eager to go eat and i was fine with breakfast and lunch then eat dinner at home. i barely grew hungry in between. Plus i get full easily at times. 16 Meal plan is 1650 per semester and the all access is 1750 all semester.

so again 16 meal plan, 16 swipes and 150 flex dollars (flex dollars renew per semester) or an all access to eat any time i would like for 1750 but no flex dollars and limited where to eat

Update:

plus the way my schedule is set the latest i get out of school is 2pm my earliest is 8am to go to school

For the first semester I'd go with all access. The flex dollars sound great however 16 meals a week might not be enough if that is supposed to get you through seven days.

I would get the all access plan and just get a part time job to give you enough money to eat wherever you want if you don't want to eat in the dining hall or wherever your meal plan is accepted. I found that when I had a limited meal plan I would be hungry quite often at times when the dining hall wasn't available. You should ask about the school's policy for changing your meal plan during the semester or between semesters too, just in case you pick the "wrong" one for you.

depends on how you eat. My daughter had a meal plan more like your flex plan.

She liked to eat right when she got up. So with her flex dollars she got milk, cereal and fruit to keep in a fridge in her room. Lots of times she wasn't ready for dinner when the dining halls were severing. so she would use her flex dollars. In her last dorm building they had a mini mart open for the students. they had fresh fruit, veggies and coffee, chips , microwave dinners.

Ask if you can switch plans second semester if the plan you have isn't working for you.

@ my school i choose the all access one so idk. Mines came with the extra dollars though..

In your case i would go with all access and then if you want to eat somewhere else just buy it with your own money (you know what i mean)... this way u can eat as many times as you want..

u won't want to eat cafeteria food everyday probably.
