Brogdon avocado and Sapodilla-when to pick?

First time I've had these two trees bear fruit. So when is best time to harvest either or. No web links please. Would prefer to hear from those who have grown one or the other.

Thanks

I grow both on my farm. To have the most flavor, rippening on the branch for as long as possible is best. You can tell by slightly pressing the fruit next to the stem. You'll notice it's softer than the other parts of the fruit. Pull them and let sit at outdoor temps for a day or two. Be careful of the sap from them, they stain.

Try with a few fruits first, before pulling all of them. I pull as I need. They stay fresh on the branch longer than at room temps.
