Why does religion suck?

it is brainwashing and having someone tell you what they think god said is focking retarded. be a mystic. god is within you. meditate, be still and god will talk to you in the form of thoughts or maybe a soft voice.

i hate religion it is the opiate of weak minded ignorant and stupid people. ha ha

you right, and they always try to tell you what to do. fock that. i think for myself and you should too. self educate, that is the best way to be.

Religions don't necessarily suck. People that manipulate religion to oppress others, make them feel guilty or feel less about themselves, people who impose their will upon others, and even hide acts of atrocity under the guise of religion suck.

There are some awesome people who are also religious. I'm actually a firm believer that they are in the majority.

I just want to say, you can't tangibly attack atheists as atheists with their ideals and beliefs.

However we as people who are atheists, can attack your ideals and beliefs as you allow them to define you. Which when you think about, just by attacking us we indeed win.

Attacking atheists on the internet is like quicksand, if you struggle it's even harder to escape.

Some of you know what I mean by this, some of you who do aren't atheists. :)
