we havent had central heating for the past few years so my kids were around 18 months-2 years old as it gets soooo cold and tehy were getting too big for their all-in-ones. i started off laying the duvet on the bed, pillow on top then put the little one in and a thick blanket on them. eventually they discovered the duvet and got used to sleeping under that.
but i had to get used to having the baby monitor on full blast (buzzzzzzzz.....hic.....glrgg) and getting up to check every 3 minutes(no kidding!)
its really how comfortable you feel
