Pain in my toe? What is the treatment?

I had this problem since three months ago when i was working out. Now, whenever I jump i felt a sudden jolt in my toe. My toe did not turn blue, swollen, red....etc etc. It looks normal. I can't bend my toe too much compare to my other toe.

My friend told me that i should use some ice to relieve it and wrap it with hot damp towel when I sleep. Is this a correct way?

Sounds like tennis toe. You may need to skip some work outs (or not jump for a few weeks) to allow it to heal. If the toe hurt all the time, it could be gout.

Yea go to the dr. I was about 13 weeks when i had it REAL bad and i was just like you i couldnt put pressure on one leg either. I couldnt really walk. They gave me a few pain meds and put me on a short course of steroids. Normally i would have just dealt with it but because i couldnt walk i took the medication. Good luck hope you feel better.
