Same problem I also face.Some one with similar name hacked by site and using the datas. I just stopped opening the face book. I am still waiting to find out some way to get rid of this menace.

The problem you have mentioned is not clear. Any how here are some suggestions.
> Check if you have internet connectivity
>Check if your firewall or virus scanner blocks the site.
>Go to Internet Options in IE or Crome and set the security level to medium
> Clear the cache and history in internet options and try again
