The new format has way too much useless information and is very difficult to navigate compared to the old one. Nobody cares about the dozens of Best Answers they voted for between their own questions and answers. That is, if they were lucky enough to find a way to vote at all. The "In Voting" section is a hodgepodge of open, in voting and resolved questions. What's up with that? More important to a YA user is the status of their own questions and answers. Simply having that information in an easy to find, centralized location must have made too much sense! Finding what you want to know is like looking for a needle in a haystack. For example, I answered a question then voted for several (ok, lots) of Best Answers. Then I went back after a few days and could not even find the answer I submitted to check the status. I actually had to use my browser history because it had been purged from the activity log on YA. It was frustrating!
FYI: The old version is still available, temporarily at least, outside the US at: "ca.answers.yahoo.com" or any of the English language sites such as UK or Australia. There are a few others as well. If you choose to regress, don't forget to clear cookies from your browser first. Of course, you will need to log back in as well.
Change can be good if it's a positive change, but this one (like the email fiasco) has been a dismal failure. Sorry for the rant.
*Oops, sorry I misread your question. I vote YES!

I like the old format better. To me the new one invites more trouble & more trolling. Now in the new format a user who u block can now see your question. Also users can now answer resolved questions. again to me this is inviting trouble & trolling but it shouldn't be surprising since it seems the trolls & troublemakers are always the ones being protected here while those who don't hurt anyone are the ones getting reported & in some cases getting their accounts suspended while barely anything is ever done to trolls/troublemakers

Why in the world would someone even broadcast this new website?! Its horrible and quite frankly, not very helpful. Whatever group of people did this needs their heads read, because this is just absolute rubbish. I just can't understand why they would even want to change it? The original website was so much better! Those people are complete loons for creating a new website. The original website looked so much better too!
In short: CHANGE IT BACK!

I prefer the old format. The new one looks like a jumbled mess in my opinion.

It sems to be a product of "group think".
Someone has a bad idea and then others jumped on board.
Before you know it - the bad idea is the new standard.
We can all understand why NASA launched chimpanzees into space before sending human being but why Yahoo employed them to design this new system is inexplicable.

This format needs to be dropped. It must have been made by committee.
I am also not able to answer questions most of the time as a "SEND" or "SUBMIT" button is missing...what gives?
