whats a good vampire book like vampire academy?

You could try the Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The 1st book is a LOT like VA. Fighters and a forbidden romance. With 'daimons' instead of vampires, but they're like Strigoi. And they drink blood.

liked the sookie stackhouse books tho, sookies got a strong willed personality, while not trained fighter like Rose, she dose put up a fight when its come to one. No epic love, but she dose get around to different guys (not to make her sound slezzy tho)

The main charactor in the Thirst is kinda bad***,(shes an ancient vampire) but only read the 1st 2 volumes the 2ed to just don't work for me,

Some of the charactors in the night world books fighters like Rose, and they all have epic love. The night world books are split into thee books and they all have different stories set in the same "Night world" and sometime the charactors from the different stories encounter one another. There vamps, shifters, and witches and its forbidden for any of them to fall in love with a human, but natrually they do.

this ones not vampire but, Mortal Instruments novels are pretty Friggin amazing, i love them equally to vamp Acadamy~The main charactor is strong and there is definitally "forbidden" romance, The guy is epic in my opinion if you never read another book in your life, read these ones

Bloodlines By Richelle Mead is awesome! Though I don't read that many vampire books after the excruciating pain I had to go through with this one book! NEVER AGAIN!

I've never read VA and I don't read too many YA vampire books. Sookie Stackhouse books might be up our alley. The True Blood show is based off them. IDK, maybe Vampire Diaries. No summaries because these are very long book series.
