did I hear correctly?

that there is a controversy regarding the long buried body of Richard 111 as to exactly where the body should rightly be interred, are the people involved with this farcical situation going round the bend,? who actually cares where these remains are, certainly not the members' of the general public I would guess. The majority of them have more very important issues on their minds such as survival in this financial climate we are constantly being told, which lead to another question who benefits from the idiotic scenario in finding out the correct place for this possible body of Richard 111,somewhere along the line it is money in the pocket for someone could it be persons with vested interests?

There is indeed a controversy , and a lot is to do with the church hijacking the resting place to be either in Leicester or in York cathedral , where you will have to pay them to have the privilege of seeing it .

The Richard IIIrd Society are fronted by a spedidly Looney woman who emoted weepily over the whole dig , much to the obvious rage of the serious archaologists involved , the climax coming with her attempt to put a nasty cheap nylon copy of the modernday Royal Standard over the carboard box taking Dicky's bent bones away to the Lab for anaysis .

I think the most hilarious thing is the deafening silence coming from Buckingham Palace - Our latterday German Royal Tribe and their surrounding brown tongued Drones want no reminders that there were other , unrelated dynasties before theirs on the Throne of England .

Its his family (or at least their descendants) that want him buried in York, his home town.

Coventry City Council want him buried in Coventry so they can make money out of tourism.

I feel the family should have the final decision.

The last king of England/Britain to lead an army in battle was George II,at Dettingen in 1743.

I guess some people think if they have his body the place will get a lot of visitors,i agree,it couldn't really matter less,i would have just buried him again under the car park!

I guess the importance of where one of your previous Kings is buried doesn't seem to be of importance to many and to others it is.

Regardless respect should be offered to him if only because he was the last King of England to lead his troops into a battle, and for that reason I believe his remains be buried where ever they decide, with full Military Honours

Yeah, it is about tourism! Also they have this body of this actual king and they have to do something with him! But what?! And everyone is arguing.
