can someone answer? how can I know I'll get a gf again?

Ok so I am a 17 year old guy, and my problem is that every time someone i know suspects a girl likes me, it always turns out to be the exact opposite, like they would ignore me and not pay attention to me and I know I'm quite confident and not a mean person, but I know its not my looks(my best friend told me she thinks I'm hot(shes already taken) she tried hooking me up but all of them were taken and/or uninterested) but anyways I just can't get a girlfriend for some reason I don't know why and I did have one relationship experience and I treated her well but I just want that feeling again but if everyone's going to be ignoring me then what ever will I do?
