Why does everyone I know treat me like I am so young?

Recently, my family and my friends (even friends that are years younger than me), have been treating me like I am so young. I don't think I am immature, and it is not because I am slow or anything, either. I will be 15 in about a month, and I just don't know what it is about me that people treat me so young. Maybe it is because I have braces and glasses and look geeky? Maybe it is because I am a little smaller and thinner than most my age? Even though I choose not to participate in dating or sexual activity yet, that doesn't mean I am any less mature than everyone else! Some people said it is because I follow Gods laws and have a sense innocence about me. I don't know, but I am wondering when it will change?

I'm not sure what they are doing to treat you young exactly.... but I also am a Christian and didn't have sex when all my friends in high school were... maybe that's why your friends treat you that way.... in today's world "sex makes you mature" at least that's what they say... and it's not true... waiting for someone special makes you mature. and this probably isn't something you want to hear but adults probably treat you young,, because you are. your only about 15. and it's great to be young! I'm 20 and wish I could go back to high school sometimes... things are much easier and so carefree! your living in the best time! enjoy it because before you know it it's gone and all of a sudden your an adult and have all these responsibilities. enjoy being young.
