You're right, hard to take just one. But if you only get one, which do you take.
Just to make it a little easier, Representative already serve two year terms. Does that change your thought on how many terms they should do?

Outlaw deficit financing except in time of war.
Interesting that it your 1st 8'answers, only 3 attempt to be realistic, and 2 of us agree.
3/8 is a pretty sad commentary on people even trying to fix problems, I isn't it? And I'm not even an American.

Terms of service for Congressmen lowered from 4 to 2 years, with term limits not to exceed 4 years whether served consecutively or not. Once you've served a total of 4 years in the Congress, you're done.
Term limit of 8 years for the President of the United States, said time period not to be served consecutively. (In other words, you can serve as POTUS for 4 years and then have to wait for another 4 before you can be elected again. No more 8 years of ignorance at a time.)
Elimination of retirement benefits for members of Congress and the POTUS. Take all of the money saved and apply it to the retirements of the men and women who served - REALLY served - our nation in the Armed Forces.
Require the Congress to pass a budget every year.

Everybody should all be allowed to eat the same high quality of food, that the rich eat, giving everyone more energy and health for a more productive country...

I would make it every citizens civic duty to physically assault anyone who uses their phone in a theater.
