Do you think the polar vortex is gone now?

I kive on the Michigan Indiana border and tomorrow it is supposed to be 49F and the 4th was 45F Both temps are unusually warm for early February

    Yes but the cold front is here and snow a scalding -9

    Nope its its just resting up & laughing a little after the super successful practical joke it played on Atlanta.

    Best be glad that our polar vortex is so puny & benign compared to the polar vortex some of our bigger neighbors out in the suburbs of the solar system.

    The polar vortex is always there, only this year it's exceptionally weak and has already drifted south a few times. It'll probably be back.

    Gone from where? It moves around. At the moment it is toward the Canada side of the pole.

    Ha! Ha! That is why you are so foggy. You live in the 'lake affect' area.

    The Vortex is always there. It just moves and changes in other ways.
