Assuming that your surgery was a keyhole surgery one (laparoscopic surgery), it's just normal for the small wounds to bleed a little for some time afterwards. During the laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon has inflated your abdominal cavity with some carbon dioxide in order to get him/her better visibility for the procedure, so, it takes quite some time for the remnants of the gas to reabsorb and to get out of your body. This is why you are feeling "gassy" and even feel some pain in your shoulder area. It is normal and it will go away soon enough. 7 hours is just too little time to your body anyway, so the healing process has only just started.

Just give your body some more time to heal, take it VERY easy for the next couple of weeks. However, if pus starts to come out of the wounds or if you develop any fever, then you need to contact a doctor again. Otherwise, just don't worry and take it easy!

I had my gallbladder removed 2 months ago. You will be in some amount of pain for a couple of days. The swollen feeling is normal as well. If the bleeding is just a little of leakage I would not worry. But if you are concerned I would just give your doctor's office a call.
