Computer problem Windows XP?

Hi. I'm using Windows XP and FireFox as my web browser.

When I set my homepage to "Google" it keeps on changing to "bing" witch is really irritating. I would like Google to stay as my home page.

How do I get rid of bing?

How do I keep my home page as Google?

Thanks.

Uninstall all bing software. When you go to do updates microsoft sneaks bing software along with them. Change updating from automatic to notify but I install. Then you will go into optional updates and uncheck the bing updates.

Make sure you are the primary administrator on the computer. If not, whenever you restart the computer, it will revert the settings.
