Is it okay to pray the rosary...?

You can talk to God anywhere, anyplace, and anytime. He is always always happy to hear from you. : )

I think that's a perfect way to say the rosary. Because it's like a chant and it repeats it's self. Old school meditation is what I call it. I think your supposed to clear your mind and get lost in the rosary. If your running, it can help you pace yourself. I'm sure any praying is good. What's your mind doing when you run ? Why not clear it and focus on God ?

Praying isn't just for church. Praying because you want to, not because your expected to, has more value.

I'm sorry it bothers your husband, when you pray. If it's important to you, he should encourage it. You are who you are because of the things you value. If you stopped praying, would you be the same person that you are today ? Tell him that if you stopped praying, you might not be so forgiving. That should make him think twice about it.

It's a good a time as any whilst you are running. Running can be a meditive experience, but you can't zone out, you need to watch where you are going. You can pray whilst doing the dishes, or any activity, usually a repetitive one, you don't always need to have a quiet place. Gardening is another good time. Learn to pray during activity.

The Rosary is a foolish repetition of misguided words, created by the Papal Cult. The Catholic Church are modern day Pharisees.

If you want to blindly follow the Papal Pharisees, praying the Rosary as you run should not be a problem. If you want to follow Jesus, you would be FAR better off asking Him into your heart, developing a personal relationship with Him, and communing in prayer directly with Him (through the Holy Spirit) while you run, or at any time.

also for people bad mouthing the Rosary on here. The Rosary is meditations on verses in the Bible as well as meditation on the life of Jesus and Mary. Thus its not a sin.

Then you should pray when yp are alone or go into your bedroom when he is somewhere else. God did say he is a jealouus God, so he wants the attention and besides praying always make us stronger. I hope you are a christian person.

This should give you some incite into prayer and what kind of prayer is acceptable to God and why.

God has never told us to pray a rosary. He wants us to pray directly to Him as our Father who loves us.
