Why do people still question the existence of God?

As long as people continue to exist, we will question EVERYTHING. Curiosity is in our nature. Despite how we came to be, we have to accept that we are... as a species.... curious, arrogant but also insightful and difficult to understand. Someone decides to put peanut butter on their bread instead of jam, someone beside them asks why? Maybe they don't answer... then we'll never know? Maybe they just felt like it?

Either way, if you are confident in your beliefs it doesn't matter whether anyone questions you, or doubts you. You don't need to defend your beliefs. Its a personal choice.

Provide evidence and I will start believing.

1st question : Evolution is the result of diversity of life. From the Big Bang resulted all the stuff that we are aware of.

2nd question: I don't know if an afterlife exists or not, no one does. So when anyone describes an afterlife, sane people know it's utter bs to make money out of - writting a book about it.

Because it is in our nature to ask questions, we want to know the answers to life's biggest mysteries. So our quest for knowledge continues, and that is were science comes in.

Whereas religion stops us from asking questions and tell us god did it.

it all depends on the meaning you give to the concept of God.

If you mean that man with beard sitting on a cloud who punishes us if we don't go to church, then my hat off to you if you believe such things! How easy it would be if we could blame your god for everything! For creating us (um...with mud?), for deciding who lives and who dies and who suffers and who doesn't.....

About creation, my friend, if you have no idea of alternative theories to Darwinism or creationism, I suggest you start reading books (and I mean books, you know, those bricks made with paper and all printed) about Atlantis and Lemuria.

When we die? Another series of interesting theories await your discovery.

Judaism encourages questions, yet our religion remains alive and well!

I would be very suspicious of anything that cannot hold up to questions.
