Seems like the belt could be slipping. Check the tensioner pulley and make sure it's moving freely. You can check that by taking the pressure off with a ratchet and spinning it by hand. If it's not spinning freely, spray behind it with white lithium.

if the belt is routed wrong, it will slip. go back and have them correct the issue.
