How to mail candies in the summertime?
Since October I have been making caramels, toffee and chocolates to sell (it helps w/the medical bills). How do I mail them now with the hot weather coming? I've thought of an ice pack but that can't last very long in July. I do send the items Priority Mail. It's not a fancy business so there really can't be a lot of expense. Shipping already cost $12.95! Please help!

Make it so certain things are just not available during the summer, or charge extra for special shipping. You could also call the post office or UPS and find out what they suggest for packaging in the summer.

I would recommend using dry ice and a styrofoam insulated pack. That's basically how steak companies ship steak via the mail. Check with a steak company that mails steaks and ask them out they mail their steaks to help give you an idea.

Just send a gift card for the candy, and your recipient can use it to get a box of candy.
