What is the significance of Haile Selassie being crowned?

Was he the first black King of Ethiopia?

Or just the first Amhara? or first Christian?

Why and how was he crowned, and would any other person crowned have also fulfilled the Rastafari prophecy?

Was Ethiopia the first country to break free from European colonization on its own?

What made Haile Selassie either special or different than any other African king in the 20th century?

The Rastafari movement believed he was the Second Coming of Jesus and that his ancestry could be traced back to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, and he would lead his people to eternal peace and prosperity.

He wasn't black, nor did he consider himself black.
