O.K. I am 52 yr. old Male, just Divorced, Looking for a possible new partner. Is 15 years younger too.... big a gap.?

So..... I have Been married for 32 years.... I am a hard working, well educated, affluent Guy.. London Born & Bred.. I have Children that are all grown up & over 18yrs. old. I am looking for a new partner, but someone, I could possibly have a Long Term, close (romantic & serious) relationship with.....

Of course.....I am looking at an opinion of Socially Acceptable range.....Not some silly answers saying , go as young as you can..... I would NEVER date someone my Children's age..... Plus it would help if they have at least heard of The Beatles/ Led Zeppelin & Maggie Thatcher.....

I just wondered... Male & Female aspects appreciated.

Thanks for answering

To be honest once you get over 30 we all become the same age, what's more important is that you both get on well and you have things in common. Try some of the big dating internet sites as that way to can be sure to find someone who suits you before you go through all the silly dating stuff again. Lots of good women on their and most of the men are idiots so you should be onto a winner if you honest and decent. I'm 48 and married to someone 13 years younger than me from a different country, culture and religion. She has no idea who Led Zeppelin is and may just about of heard of the Beatles, but hey we love it each, it doesn't matter.

    I am 43... fiance is 22.

Don't worry about the age, if you are skilled enough to attract a much younger girl then learn to enjoy her like an 18 year old scotch.

If you're a 52 year old male, i'd think you would be more interested in a woman who is in her sexual prime? These women are over 40 and more age appropriate.

Unless you're just looking for sex, drama and spending a lot of money.

The age cutoff rule of thumb is half your age, plus seven.

    Half of 52 is 26, and 26 + 7 = 33. So you're OK to date anyone 33 or older.

Age is just a number. But I suppose if you met a 20 year old comments would be made but who cares? I had a 26 year old boyfriend when I was 39, I don't think it matters these days. Just find someone nice.

I say go for it if you both like each other and have a good connection and like you said you wouldn't date someone your children's age so I would just do what makes you happy!!

age is a state of mind. I'm older than you and have dated women over 25 years my junior. It all depends on your outlook.

Whatever works for you and your new partner is just fine. Just stay away from those that are your mother's age or older...

You're opinion is the only one that matters.15 years is not to big of a gap.
