Reverse sneezing in puppy? Potential pollen allergy?

And again my never ending list of confusion and curiosity caused by my 10 month old husky has another odd thing added to it. It took me quite a bit of googling to realize that what he was doing was reverse sneezing and it's started in the past week. We live in ga and everything of course is already covered in pollen. So, my question is if my dog is doing this reverse sneezing thing and has eye boogers, but is eating and playing and acting normally, should I assume it's the pollen and if so does it warrant a vet visit?

I have read that reverse sneezing is a side effect from the rabies vaccine. Eye discharge that started with the pollen on the other hand, is most likely an allergic reaction to the pollen. It wouldn't hurt to see the vet, but I'm betting they will likely prescribe a steroid or tell you to give Benadryl.
