What is the most logical Bible based religion?

Please add some detail, like the following example.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that “all Scripture is inspired of God.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

Jason D. BeDuhn, an associate professor of religious studies, wrote: “[Jehovah’s Witnesses built] their system of belief and practice from the raw material of the Bible without predetermining what was to be found there.” They align their beliefs with the Bible; they do not interpret it to suit themselves. At the same time, they recognize that not everything in the Bible is to be taken literally. The seven days of creation, for example, are symbolic, referring to extended periods of time.—Genesis 1:31; 2:4.

Those are the reasons I became a Jehovah's Witness. Bible bases, and logical. I am a very logical thinker. Ive done my research. I continue to do my research and I keep coming to the same conclusion.

It's so funny to hear people try to tear down the NWT. Sad, but funny. The NWT gets criticized because it doesn't follow the same trinitarian biases that the majority of Bibles follow. As stated by the asker in his quote of Jason DeBuhn. We allow the Bible to interpret itself instead of forcing our beliefs on the Bible.

The Witnesses use exegesis, Trinitarians use eisegesis.

Logically? How about Bible truth? Both point only to Jehovah's Witnesses as being the only place to find truth. Are all associated with JWs in line for life? The Bible answer is no. Some are only talking the talk and not walking the walk.

I don't know, but I'm disinclined to think that it's Jehovah's Witnesses because many of their teachings are based on taking bible texts out of context and employing fallacious reasoning.

That's why they unique teachings are always subject to revision. If their teachings were sound and logical to begin with then they wouldn't be undergoing so much revisions.

I notice you quoted some of Jason BeDuhn's views on the NWT. Why don't you also quote his criticisms of the NWT translation of the christian greek scriptures?

Jehovah's Witnesses follow the Watchtower and not the Bible.

The Watchtower re wrote the Bible to suit their false teachings. The New World Translation is not a translation since not one on the translating committe was fluent in the original languages. Yes really!

The Watchtower has made many failed prophecies and published contradictions of doctrine. It cannot therefore be the faithul and true witness nor the organ of God in this world.

But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Jehovah's Witnesses are in bondage to and enslaved to the Watchtower.

Maybe a better way to ask your question is, "What is the most illogical Bible based religion?" The answer to that question could very well be the JW church, and here's why. The religion has a built-in credibility problem.

The way the JW religion works is that all its members must go by the teachings of the WBTS in Brooklyn, NY. If a member believes the WBTS is in error and lets that be known, he or she will be shunned and thus lose all contact with JW family and friends for the rest of their lives. So it is impossible to tell who in that church truly believes the nonsense the WBTS spouts out and who just doesn't want all their relationships destroyed. So how is one to believe what a JW says when they can't really tell if the JW speaking to them believes what they are saying?
