Sure can, I miss those liberal presidents from the 1700s and early 1800s.

I don't think so. The 2016 election is probably the last chance for the USA. It is a gonner if we elect another liberal.

Who can tell. The last time a self-avowed liberal Democrat was in the White House was the last administration of FDR. Truman, JFK, Johnson, Carter, Clinton and Obama were/are pragmatic centrists, not liberal. They, like George Washington and the huge number of taxes he put into effect, did what needed to be done to keep the country together. You can call these past presidents anything you want to call them but, unlike Peter Pan, believing it doesn't make it real.
On the other hand, the last few Republican administrations have destroyed our economic system and run up huge debts, mostly due to military spending. I'm still waiting for all that wealth that's accumulating at the top to start dropping down on me:-) Most Americans are finally beginning to realize that the Republican policies that benefit the top level of society aren't going to ever benefit the rest of us.

The last two republican presidents sent our banking system into total collapse. America cannot survive another republican.

President Obama is NO liberal. He is a right-wing conservative like all the politicians in the US. He may be more "socially progressive" than most, but is still pro-business and a conservative.
As to the economy -- it has been the ultra right-wing conservatives of the Republican Partty and of the right of the Democrat Party who have been ruining the economy for years, even before Obama cam to offive.

Obama and Democrats have done great work in spite of CONservatives putting up every possible road block to stop them. Hopefully people have had enough of the GOP Tea Party Republcan CON job on America and we can make some real progress.

Constant warfare for 60 years, Reagan's Voodoo economics for 30 years, are what's destroying the US economy. Idiot CEOs de-industrializing the US didn't help either.

Of course. Why would you believe that returning to 'leadership' that caused 9/11, two unfunded wars.....one with the wrong country, 7,000 Americans killed in Iraq, 3,000 Americans killed in NY, TARP, 700,000 jobs lost PER MONTH, would be somehow better than electing the guy who ended your unnecessary war, eliminated the people who caused 9/11, and turned around the economic mess that republicans left him with?

The economy is better now than when Obama took office. The country is better off now than when Obama took office. Our greatest years of peace and prosperity during the twentieth century, were during the Clinton administration.
