Should I text her ?

There's this girl I really like and we've been texting for a couple weeks and also talking but mostly with "installments".. The last time we texted was a couple days ago and that she didn't reply to one of my texts and the next day she told me she forgot cuz she didn't have her phone with her she had it in the other room?? so whatever I don't know if I should text her now. I really want to, but I don't want to come off to strong or something..
