After viewing a question how do I return to that question and not to the most recently posted question?

It's very annoying to return to page 1 when the question I viewed was on page 7 and I want to continue from there. Thanks

Instead of just clicking on the question to open it, open the question in a new tab or new window.

Right-click on the question you wish to open. Select 'Open in new tab' or 'Open in new window' from the list of options. After viewing the question, close the tab/window and your other open screen (the questions list) will be in the same place it was ... this eliminates the need to scroll, scroll, scroll to get back to where you were.

If you're using a mouse with an actual wheel (on a desktop, or a wired or wireless auxiliary mouse with a laptop), you can hover your cursor over the question you wish to view, then click the wheel itself. This will open the question in a new tab without you having to select the option to do so.

The system seems to automatically return you to page 1 so you have to scroll down to page 7 to continue.

This seems to be a flaw in the new purple system and constant loading and scrolling makes the system much slower than the old green system.
