Everyone brags.
One person brags about how rich they are, while another brags about their benevolence. I realize you're only saying this in jest, but your specificity in targeting Texas shows you haven't a clue as to the pervasiveness of pride.

Let them brag all they want. Bragging at being the world's leader at creating part time Taco Bell jobs is not as good as it sounds..
