I'm flying from London to Chicago. I really want to take my cat with me. It'd be great if anyone could give me some information on what it's like and recomend a carrier.

You need to contact the airlines. IF you are not staying in the US, then your cat will be quartined when you return to the UK. So is it worth taking her with you?
Foreign airlines rarely let you have your pet in cabin with you like in the USA.
