Hello,
You can use your Vanilla Visa Card anywhere Visa debit cards or PULSE cards are accepted within the fifty United States and District of Columbia; however, it does not include the territories of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. You may use your Vanilla Gift Card for online purchases just remember to register your ZIP code here: https://www.vanillavisa.com/
The Vanilla Visa Card CANNOT be used at merchants outside of the United States, including the Internet and mail order/telephone order merchants outside of the United States.

You can use prepaid cards to buy things online, but you must call the company to register your card to have billing information (they won't bill you, its just the information required when buying anything online. Phone number is usually on the back of the card.

Usually not. Most websites don't accept gift cards and require a "real" credit card.
