cruciate knee injuries relating back to lack of physical activity?

Can anybody give any advice on this?

    Hi Robert,

    If someone pushes [ exercise ] themselves hard without proper warm-up ACL /MCL ligament tears are

    likely. These elastic bands cross each other to 'stabilize' the joint. If the quadriceps { thigh } & the

    hamstring { back of thigh } are not strong enough to support the knee joint, changing directions quickly can rupture the ACL. Good luck in your endeavors.

    It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with lack of physical sport. I played rugby once but I tripped and landed on my knee really awkwardly. As a result, my right knee is almost 90 degrees to the left as that is how it healed! It turned out that half of my Anterior Cruciate Ligament was completely torn and the other half was twisted. I suffer random pains in my knee now!
