How can I get my cat to shut up?
This getting more annoying. My cat meows in the very early morning because she wants her soft food. Dry food is always out. But after she gets the soft food...she often starts meowing again! I can't sleep! This a recent thing. What can I do to shut her up?? TIA!

She is doing that to get your attention, and obviously its working. If you ignore it for a few days, She will eventually get the message. Good Luck!

Some cats are just talkers and just up early.
My owners are.
Best thing is just don't start talking to them early if you don't want to do stuff for them early.
This will upset them horribly because they let you live in their house. Hopefully the cat you work for is a good natured cat that will not go from verbal demands for their house servant to perform correctly to a good nip on the ankle.
If the cats behavior gets totally out of hand as most disputes are best handle on YouTube. Go there and post a video of the cat's bad behavior. Cats hate being humiliated and will usually begin I am ignoring you behavior if it doesn't totally backfire and they attack you like a hungry mountain lion.

Try soft food before you go to bed. It will take her a little time, but she will figure out she only gets it at night.
