what is the coldest temperature you've ever had to live/work in?

    I remember -7 F a few times. I was talking to a man in the Yukon who was saying later in the winter it got cold and you could still drive at -50 but at -60 the air in the tires froze. When his wife was expecting he took her to Whitehorse to wait for the baby in case he could get her to the hospital from the middle of nowhere. I was in the Yukon that time in November so not there for the real cold weather only about -7F or maybe a little colder. We couldn't afford motels so were sleeping in the car and after and hour or so you had to drive to get warm.

    -20ish degrees Celsius. Had 3 expeditions in the outer Siberian wilderness.

    -20 F loading bales of hay and feeding cattle outside. Heavy boots, jeans, heavy jacket, gloves and a good hat with ear mufs.
