Out of state, NEVER.
In the same city, ANYTIME, after you've gotten to know more about the other. BUT, I will have to warn you: do a double date. Until you're more comfortable with that person. But . . . unless you know where he works, where he lives, who his friends, relatives . . . . it's hard to trust JUST ANYONE, this is 2014. EVERYONE now, do a background check!
