How should Christians stand up for their faith in such an anti-Christian world?

Critics of Christianity have become far more vocal recently. This is partly because there are many people who do not believe in God or understand the truth about Him at all. Yet the apparent increase of anti-Christians is also due to perception. Those who truly despise Christianity are the loudest and most vocal of the non-believers. The vast majority of those who do not believe don't care enough to bother believers. The few angry, vocal, bitter unbelievers make enough noise to seem more numerous than they are.

Christians, do you believe this is true?

Oh come on your post just adds to the evidence of why decent people are becoming antitheist and it has nothing to do with belief or non belief but the attitudes and behaviour of the BAD Christians!

England's Archbishop of Canterbury has said that Christianity is now known for it's hatreds and not about god!

ALL the other religions and atheists live in peace and are ONLY attacked by BAD Christians which causes all GOOD Christians to despair at the damage they do!

The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only thing that can stop it is to abandon the terrible human emotions, seek to rediscover the idea of a loving god and act like it!

"Critics of Christianity have become far more vocal recently."

It's never going to end. Religion is destroying this planet. It's a disease that must be completely eradicated before it's too late.

Anti-Christian world?? What kind of fantasy world are you living in?

Christians used to control 100% of society. Now that secularism has partially taken hold and their level of control has dropped to maybe 96%, they see enemies everywhere.

Are you longing for the good old days when you could simply execute anyone who didn't agree with you? Is it terribly hard for you to live with those who aren't part of your religion?

Other people living their lives the way they choose does not constitute persecution of your group. Why is it so difficult for Christians to accept that others are entitled to make their own choices for their own lives?

Jesus said they persecute me they will persecute you. John 15:20.

1 peter2:15 says 'by our doing good we silence such ignorant talk'.

So, we can expect such treatment and remarks but by our faith and good conduct we show That following Jesus is the best way of life b

Well, I guess Christians could go back to imprisoning & killing all non-believers. That worked for you people for a while.

Or you could emulate the "good" Westboro Baptist Christians, spew hatred & picket everything.

Edit: But my advise is to get professional help with your obvious paranoia & Persecution Complex.

Simply by taking up the many opportunities of befriending people..especially those that are open minded, no matter what their faith life.

Its all part of Bible prophecy. Matthew 24:9-14 states“Then people will hand you over to tribulation+ and will kill you,+and you will be hated by all the nations on account of my name.+10 Then, too, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and mislead many;+ 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness, the love of the greater number will grow cold. 13 But the one who has endured*to the end will be saved.+ 14 And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations,+and then the end will come.

So we know this is is going to happen, however we just keep on following in Jesus footsteps, he didn't let nothing stopped him.

Christians love to play the victim card! Poor baby. It is finally illegal to kill people for not being Christian. You are losing power, and people are finally reading the Bible and discovering what utter nonsense it is.

They don't hate us because we're bad. They hate us because we're good.

If they don't want the peace you offer, brush their dirt off of you as a testimony against them and walk away.

If forced into a situation where your life is at stake, be prepared to lay down your life for what you believe, but never harm anyone for what you believe. For, if someone claims they love God and they don't love their fellow man, they are a liar and the truth is not in them. We accept all people. It doesn't mean we should agree with the destructive things they do.

Two in seven people worldwide are Christians, and four out of five in the USA.

    Anti-Christian my butt.
